Fair Trade Chocolate Tasting & More

Kuapa_Kokoo_Lady

If you’re passionate about chocolate then you can’t afford to miss out on the Fair Trade Chocolate session on Saturday 30th October at the International Youth for Fair Trade Conference in Coventry.  The session will be run by Trading Visions’ Tom Allen, who will present the fascinating story of cocoa production in Ghana and the benefits of Fair Trade Chocolate to both consumers and producers.

Taste the Benefits of Fair Trade

During the session you will be able to taste Fair Trade Chocolate from Divine, the UK’s leading Fair Trade Chocolate brand and learn about the unique way that Divine Chocolate partners with Ghanaian cocoa farmers.  The highlight of the session will be a rare opportunity to speak directly with Divine Chocolate’s cocoa farmers at the Kuapa Kokoo co-operative in Ghana, live via video link.  Delegates will be able to put their questions about chocolate and fair trade direct to the producers themselves to get the real inside story on the chocolate industry.

This is an unmissable event for anyone who loves chocolate and is keen to find out more about where it comes from and the people that dedicate their lives to its production.

Highlights of the session include:

  • FREE Fair Trade Chocolate Tasting
  • Learn how Chocolate is Produced
  • Talk Directly to Cocoa Producers via Video Link
