Take Real Action on Fair Trade

If you’re aged 18 to 25 and feel strongly about trade injustice then you simply must attend the International Youth of Fair Trade Conference in Coventry on the 30th October to 1st November 09.

Throughout the conference weekend, you’ll have the chance to learn more about Fair Trade and the benefits it can provide to communities in developing countries, with first-hand experiences shared from leading experts and campaigners including Barbara Crowther of the Fair Trade Foundation and Paulette Stenzel of Michigan State University.

Take Real Action

As well as educating and inspiring, the conference will take a unique, practical approach to help you turn your knowledge into action.  You’ll have the opportunity to develop practical campaigning skills and learn from the experiences of professional campaigners.

Don’t miss out on the chance to:

  • Learn about Fair Trade from leading international experts
  • Attend a campaigning skills workshop with Action Aid
  • Learn how to set up your own Fair Trade enterprise

During the event you will learn how real action is possible, and have the chance to see how previous Youth for Fair Trade delegates successfully designed and implemented their own campaigns, including a Fair Trade Fashion Show and Urban Treasure Hunt.

Find out about the real progress that can be achieved through taking action and gain the skills, knowledge and motivation to play your part in tackling trade injustice.
